Ryan O'Halloran

Civil Operations Manager - Victoria

As the Operations Manager of Sterling’s Victorian-based construction and maintenance division, Ryan leads a team of Project Coordinators, Project Engineers, and Tradespersons delivering rail and infrastructure projects across Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. As the founding Operations Manager of the division, Ryan is responsible for the successful delivery of rail infrastructure works for key operators in Australia’s rail network including Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) and V/Line Corporation. Prior to undertaking this role, Ryan commenced with Sterling as a Project Coordinator, developing a foundational understanding of the Victorian and South Australian rail networks.

Ryan brought to Sterling a broad capability developed across 10 years in a diversified portfolio of industries where he gained practical experience in dynamic and fast-paced project environments. Commencing his career in infrastructure, Ryan progressed into the oversight and supervision of production activities in the manufacturing industry. Ryan honed his project delivery capability whilst executing production optimisation projects domestically and internationally for Weatherford, a major services provider in the Oil and Gas industry.

Ryan has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland and is a trade-qualified electrician. Ryan holds accreditations in Track Safety, Rail Safe Working Level 3, License to Perform High Risk Works and various construction plant competencies.
