Adeline Bisson

Director of Universal Access & Data Analytics

Adeline started working at Sterling in 2013 as Project Manager for Structure Inspections projects. In 2016 Adeline was promoted to Director of the Asset Management division. She has since been overseeing the implementation of data solution systems to enable capture of defects and inventory data for large volume inspection contracts as well as overseeing the successful delivery of multi-million inspections and audits contracts for various Rail Operators and Government Authorities . She is now the Director of the Universal Access division and provides expertise in Access Consultancy for public transport infrastructure.

Adeline has 20 years’ experience in civil engineering specialising in asset management, project management and universal access. Adeline has successfully delivered major structure inspection contracts in Australia and the UK. Adeline has also in-depth knowledge of the the application of the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport (DSAPT 2002) by conducting hundreds of accessibility audits and design reviews of public transport infrastructure (railway stations, trams stops, airport terminals and trains and trams rolling stocks) in Victoria and New South Wales. Adeline is a sought-after access consultant and has been acting as Subject Matter Expert for various government authorities and rail operators on accessibility projects. Adeline has a passion for accessibility and is dedicated to creating inclusive and accessible environment for individuals with diverse abilities and providing equal opportunities to all.

Adeline has a Diplome d’ Ingenieur (Hons), Engineering Degree (Civil engineering) from the Ecole Centrale (France) and is a Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE) from the UK institute of Civil Engineer (ICE). She is also an Accredited member of the Association of Consultants in Access Australia (ACAA). She has extensive postgraduate training including Train Track safety Awareness and a Cert IV in accessibility.
