Jackson joined Sterling Infrastructure in 2016 as an Undergraduate Engineer in the Rockhampton, Queensland office. In his six years at Sterling, Jackson has been an integral part of the Rockhampton team and has worked his way up through the ranks where he currently performs his current role as Project Engineer, responsible for the project management and delivery of civil/structural asset renewal and maintenance projects for transport rail operators Aurizon and Queensland Rail.
Jackson has a breadth of civil construction and rail experience having project managed culvert renewal and formation repair packages for Aurizon since he started at Sterling as part of the on-going Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN) renewals program. Jackson has also delivered an array of other projects including a rollingstock examiner equipment facility at Branxton Train Station and pipejacking under live rail track across various locations in the CQCN for Aurizon as well as civil works upgrades on the Yeppoon Rail Line for Queensland Rail.
Jackson has completed a B.E in Civil Engineering (Hons) and Diploma of Professional Practice – Co-op Engineering from Central Queensland University, Rockhampton.
